I have and electric trimmer but I hate it and I hear that the pollution from the making of the electricity is starting to become an issue. I saw this www.golehr.com the other day. Looks like it's worth exploring. Anyone else seen this?

I wouldn't mind trying the Lehr products. Problem is, my yard is tiny. I have about 5 minutes worth of trimming. So, I don't feel overly bad about electricity pollution. And I typically only need to trim about every third time I mow.

I really like my electric trimmer. It does exactly what I need it to do. Once or twice I've had to cut some scraggle from behind the garage, and it's done a pretty decent job with that bigger, stalkier stuff, too.

There are two sides on this issue: the gas-operated lawnmowers cause pollution while the turf grasses helps to eliminate it. Sounds weird!
